QUALITY ENGINEERS:
Responsibilities for the above positions are similar and often overlap. Our manufacturing environment consists of prototype to production runs of commodity, stock alter and made-to-order mechanical power transmission components and assemblies. In addition to manufacturing product for a nationwide customer base, we are in the midst of a substantial research and development project for a new product line which we feel will revolutionize the way the world attaches small mechanical p.t. components to shafts.
As often happens in a small company, applicants will be required to perform a variety of duties, sometimes not in their primary discipline. An ideal candidate for any of the engineering positions would be comfortable operating a work station in a CAD/CAE/CAM environment, checking a part for dimensional compliance with drawing specifications, or tweaking the input to an FEA to help a model conform to prototype or experiment results. Most importantly, candidates will have a creative, open mind, a commitment to lifelong growth and learning, and a can-do attitude. Applicants with formal engineering education in the above disciplines preferred.
OTHER ENGINEERING:
Engineering students interested in internships available at CMT® can send in their resumes for consideration.
